Apex BodyBugg Reviews - Can You Be the Biggest Loser?
Do you want to be losers like what you have seen in "Biggest Losers Club"? I bet your answer is yes, then you may be interested in a cool gadget they used. It's called "BodyBugg". Bodybugg is a small device that keeps tracks of amount of calories you burn throughout the day. We all know that how difficult it is to count the numbers when we are dieting. BodyBugg takes away the guess work and does the job for you. However, the question is: does Bodybugg really works?
First let's use examine how Bogybudd works. Bodybugg cost $480, including custom meal plans, 3 months subscription to web-based program and 2 phone consultations with a Bodybugg coach. Bodybugg works in 2 components: a small device that you wear on your arm throughout the day and the personalized web-based program. From the internet, you are required to input health related personal information, including age, foods preference, activity level, weight goals and more. The device used the latest sensor technology that keep track of energy your consumed, including exercise, walking or even while you are sitting in front of computers. The calculation is done based on your health profile. Each night, you have to document what you eat on that day. With this information, Bogybugg system will monitor your weight loss progress by calculating how many calories you may need to consume or burn.
The biggest advantage with Bodybugg is that it is an easy solution to keep track of calories consumption. You need no measurement cup, measurement tapes and guess work. According to most of its customers, Bodybugg is quite accurate in keeping track of calories consumed except that it does not seem to work very well with mountain biking and offroad motorcycle biking.
However, at $480, Bodybugg is very expensive. Unfortunately, it does not automatically track how many calories you eat. It also does not have a heart rate monitor which is a necessary indicator for cardio exertion. Besides, Bodybugg is not very useful if your diet does not require you to cut down calories (including high protein diet, low GI diet, Atkin diet etc).
In a nutshell, it is hard to tell if Bodybugg can help you to lose weight. Like any other infomercial, Bodybugg has tons of testimonials from satisfied customers and also past Biggest Loser contestants. It is worth to know that many people tend to watch their exercise regime and diet more carefully when they buy the "latest" weight loss gadget. As a result, most of them do manage to lose weight.
